About the event
The English language contains more than half a million words, yet we often struggle to find the right ones. Instead we use ‘word trash’ – filler words, unnecessary adverbs and adjectives: words that mask our meaning and disconnect us from each other.
Twenty minutes in conversation, ten of questions, then half an hour on people's own writing. Bring a paragraph or a sentence of your own: an email, a short passage you're stuck on. We cut the padding out of it and make it vivid, live.
