About the event
The English language contains more than half a million words, yet we all struggle to find the right ones sometimes. Instead we use “word trash”: filler words, unnecessary adverbs and adjectives, words that mask our meaning and disconnect us from each other. Called “a Marie Kondo for language,” Will Jelbert is here to identify and take out the word trash. His smart, funny, and deeply human insight can help anyone communicate more effectively and think more deeply about the words they choose.
